Summary

#1 New York Times bestselling author of Hopeless joins forces with the New York Times bestselling author of Mud Vein。 Together, they have created a gripping, romantic tale unlike any other。 "How odd to be made of flesh, balanced on bone, and filled with a soul you've never met。"
Charlize Wynwood and Silas Nash have been best friends since they could walk。 They've been in love since the age of fourteen。 But as of this morning。。。they are complete strangers。 Their first kiss, their first fight, the moment they fell in love。。。every memory has vanished。 "I don't care what our real first kiss was," he says。 "That's the one I want to remember。"
Charlize and Silas must work together to uncover the truth about what happened to them and why。 But the more they learn about the couple they used to be。。。the more they question why they were ever together to begin with。
"I want to remember what it feels like to love someone like that。 And not just anyone。 I want to know what it feels like to love Charlie。"

I thought the concept for this book was really interesting and I kept wanting to read to understand what happened to Charlie and Silas。 I enjoyed the dual point of view and the mystery throughout the book。 In the end, I wasn’t as satisfied with the story as I thought I was going to be。

。。。more

This one starts slow but picks up and is super super interesting to read! I love how it has two authors coming together as one。 Such a different type of story but I loved it! It is a good read if you can get past the slower parts

This book started so strong!! But the ending was not :(

Meh。 I had to force myself to finish this book。 I just wanted it to end。 It’s not a bad read, I just could not get into it。 And the whole “hospital” thing was weird。 And not weird in a good way。 I felt like some of the “connections” were awkward and weak。

This wasn't bad at all, but none of the three parts were particularly strong OR memorable。 I enjoyed it the way I would a book I randomly picked up, not one I'd been waiting for for a long time。 But that does not mean I didn't enjoy it, just that I didn't enjoy it enough to be thinking about it after。 This wasn't bad at all, but none of the three parts were particularly strong OR memorable。 I enjoyed it the way I would a book I randomly picked up, not one I'd been waiting for for a long time。 But that does not mean I didn't enjoy it, just that I didn't enjoy it enough to be thinking about it after。 。。。more

look the concept of this book- a couple wakes up with no memories of who they are and their lives together- is promising, and i have to admit that for the first half i ABSOLUTELY loved it and could not put it down ( i was like maybe Hoover and Fisher did it this time & this will become a fave) but unfortunately the whole explanation as to why they keep on loosing their memories was kinda stupid to me (actually VERY stupid) but ig u are reading a romance novel so what are u expecting? also i pers look the concept of this book- a couple wakes up with no memories of who they are and their lives together- is promising, and i have to admit that for the first half i ABSOLUTELY loved it and could not put it down ( i was like maybe Hoover and Fisher did it this time & this will become a fave) but unfortunately the whole explanation as to why they keep on loosing their memories was kinda stupid to me (actually VERY stupid) but ig u are reading a romance novel so what are u expecting? also i personally did not like the romance and thought of it as soo cringy but because of the plot and everything else on the first half i’m giving this 3 stars。 。。。more

Not the best。 Started strong but ended terribly。 Seemed rushed and was miss key things that they bring up a couple times early on。 It had so much potential I enjoyed the concept though :/

This book was good don’t get me wrong。 But it took me forever to get into it。 I’ve read books where I couldn’t put it down。 This was not one of them。

Good Dog, Bad Cop is book 4 in the K Team Novels series by David Rosenfelt。 Do yourself a favor and get the entire series; you will not regret it; although, this edition does work well as a standalone。My favorite thing about this series is that the story is told through the thoughts and experiences of the main character, Corey Douglas。 It gives the book a realistic feel about his work and personal life。 The addition of his thoughts about people and the situations he finds himself in greatly add Good Dog, Bad Cop is book 4 in the K Team Novels series by David Rosenfelt。 Do yourself a favor and get the entire series; you will not regret it; although, this edition does work well as a standalone。My favorite thing about this series is that the story is told through the thoughts and experiences of the main character, Corey Douglas。 It gives the book a realistic feel about his work and personal life。 The addition of his thoughts about people and the situations he finds himself in greatly add to the story。 Moreover, I also appreciate the fact that this author can tell a story that I become completely wrapped up in, but he doesn't feel that the police officers have to curse all through the book。 Why do so many authors portray the police like that? The ones I have known over the years don't talk like that。 He also leaves out those very detailed sex scenes that add absolutely nothing to a good story。I give this book 5 stars。 。。。more

Never forget this book had a huge plot twist at part 3。 When these two teenagers that loved each other wake up and realize they don’t know who they are they have to work together to figure out why it keeps happening。 I do think there was some holes In the book however they focus on the main point of why does it keep happening。

Your typical yet not typical love story。 I really had high hopes that something super awesome was going to happen。 I was disappointed。 The writing is good and the characters were fun, but that's about it。 I gave it 3 stars。 Your typical yet not typical love story。 I really had high hopes that something super awesome was going to happen。 I was disappointed。 The writing is good and the characters were fun, but that's about it。 I gave it 3 stars。 。。。more

I’m very passionate about how bad this book is。 Worst read of 2023 so far。 The general concept of this book had so much potential - but for me it lacked in its delivery。 Some cute moments between the two MC’s, however there were so many mini plots that actually accumulated to nothing, and didn’t add anything to the plot overall, that the amount of anticlimactic moments outweighed the general enjoyability of the book。

I have not read a book like this。 It really messed with my mind。 Charlie and Silas are experiencing a complete wipe out of their memories every 48 hours。 They search for clues and cues from their surrounding to glean any information。I spent the first part of the book thinking how awful that is-to only remember a few hours。 I thought I knew what has caused their constant reset loop, but I was wrong。The most profound was uttered by Silas- they didn’t have to be those people anymore。 Frankly, neith I have not read a book like this。 It really messed with my mind。 Charlie and Silas are experiencing a complete wipe out of their memories every 48 hours。 They search for clues and cues from their surrounding to glean any information。I spent the first part of the book thinking how awful that is-to only remember a few hours。 I thought I knew what has caused their constant reset loop, but I was wrong。The most profound was uttered by Silas- they didn’t have to be those people anymore。 Frankly, neither one was a prize before the amnesia。It was an unforgettable read。Thanks to HTP, Canary Street Press and NetGalley for the early read。 。。。more

3。5 ⭐️A lot of the letters in this book reminded me of my first love, so that was automatically endearing to me。 I understand where some of the criticism for part 3 comes in, but I think the authors did answer some of those questions (not explicitly) but through some of the things Charlie and Silas did in part 3。I’m not as mad at the “reason” behind them forgetting either, I think it was kind of cute。 What DOES bother me about this book is where Charlie is for most of part 2 and, IMO, having no 3。5 ⭐️A lot of the letters in this book reminded me of my first love, so that was automatically endearing to me。 I understand where some of the criticism for part 3 comes in, but I think the authors did answer some of those questions (not explicitly) but through some of the things Charlie and Silas did in part 3。I’m not as mad at the “reason” behind them forgetting either, I think it was kind of cute。 What DOES bother me about this book is where Charlie is for most of part 2 and, IMO, having no satisfying resolution to that… 。。。more

This was a really really cute book。 I was going back and forth on my rating bc it was such a confusing concept until the 100 of mark。 The idea was very interesting and I loved it, but it took me a while before I could truly connect with the characters。 The thing that made it a 4 star instead of a 3。5 is that it was such a cute friends to lovers, soulmates but they don’t know it type read。 I think it would have been a 5 star if we got a more rounded ending with the tarot reader and Cora。 I also w This was a really really cute book。 I was going back and forth on my rating bc it was such a confusing concept until the 100 of mark。 The idea was very interesting and I loved it, but it took me a while before I could truly connect with the characters。 The thing that made it a 4 star instead of a 3。5 is that it was such a cute friends to lovers, soulmates but they don’t know it type read。 I think it would have been a 5 star if we got a more rounded ending with the tarot reader and Cora。 I also wish the feud was flushed out more, I feel like it was kind of thrown in there half-assed as a reason to why they split up。 I did like the little details that had nothing to do with the book, like how Janette says they’ve missed her bday and that she dated Landon。 I LOVED the epilogue, I think that was such a funny way to end the book。 I want a squeal。 。。。more

Wow。 Was not expecting this to be a five star read at all but it was so good。 I loved getting to know the characters and their storylines and the plot was so interesting。 Such a good ending, but the ending in the epilogue was even better and so perfect for this book🤌🏻

Ended up falling in love with the characters! It took me a little to get into but ended up really enjoying this book。
